New method for eliminating signal zero drift of fiber-optic gyro

The basic theory and the mathematics model of the ouput signal in the fiberoptic gyro (FOG) are introduced,then meaning of zero drift is clarified.Principle of some methods for eliminating signal zero drift is analized.A drift elimination method based on wavelet analysis is presented.Multiscale wavelet decomposition and multiresolution analysis (MRA) is done on the real time signal of FOG,and the validity of wavelet filtering is verified.
