A Practical Digital RMS Measurement System

This paper introduces a digital measurement system for the ac signals.The data processing algorithms are used in the system,such as cross-multiplication and the ladder-shaped area calculation.The traditional bridge rectifier,filter and zero-point detection circuit are removed from the system with the result of increasing accuracy and reliability of the system.
