An Image Mosaics Software Based on Harris and RANSAC Algorithm

The image mosaic technology is widely used in scientific research and engineering. This paper carries out an image matching software depending on Harris and RANSAC algorithm design,including interest point detection,feature matching,accurate matching,image matching and other major functional modules. Here also carries out an experiment of application of the software with ordinary photo,UAV image and panoramic image as an example. The result shows that an image mosaic method based on Harris and RANSAC algorithm can achieve better seamless splicing effect for the three kinds of photos and the software is simple and easy to use and is reliable.
