Design and Implementation of A Sescure Mail Server which Supports A Great Number of Users

A method is presented to overcome the shortcoming of the usual email system which can not support a great number of users.Postfix is used as smtp server,cyrus is used as pop/imap server,apache is used as web server and mysql is used as database server on linux system in this project.With the javamail package and the technology of java,the web mail system of the mail server is implemented.In order to filter spam,the spam filtering system is designed which is based on Bayesian algorithm.An email virus protection scheme is proposed so that email virus can be detected and cleaned effectively.
