Overview of D-S Evidence Theory Modification

D-S evidence theory is a very useful tool in dealing with the uncertainty problems,but its application is limited by the shortcomings of combinations rules.This paper analyzed different methods of assigning conflict probability, the existing modification methods and summarized their advantages and disadvantages.The result of the analysis provides the basis for different applications of D-S evidence theory.
