In view of the common existing problem of communication delays in networked control systems, a continuous time model of multi-input multi-output networked control systems with many independent sensors and actuators is derived. Then a new sufficient condition for stability of networked control systems is obtained based on time-delay theory.According to the given condition, the maximum allowable network delay(MAND) that make networked control systems stable can be computed. The networked control systems are asymptotically stable on condition that the actual network co-(mmunication) delays are less than the maximum allowable network delay. The simulated experimental result shows that the proposed theory is effective.
