ONBOARD METEOROLOGICAL SERVICE FOR A PIPELINE LAYING SHIP OVER THE CEZI ISLAND WATERS
Geng Shu-qin · Marine Forecasts · 2006
The author in this paper told her onboard first-hand experience about providing weather forecasts for a pipeline laying ship, which was working over the Cezi Island waters west of Zhoushan Islands during the period of December 4 through January 7, 2004. Several important suggestions for improving onboard meteorological service in the future are given based on her careful analyses of the weather situation at both 500 hPa and the sea level for this period.
