Image denoising based on stationary wavelet-based anisotropic diffusion

Aiming at the detail losing problem caused by traditional space-based anisotropic diffusion,a new method of stationary wavelet-based anisotropic diffusion is purposed.Based on the character of stationary wavelet transform,anisotropic diffusion is applied in different sub-bands with different gradient threshold.Denoised image is reconstructed by diffused sub -bands.The experiment results show that this method is able to achieve a good effect in noise removal and detail preservation.
