MODULE LIBRARY MANAGEMENT AND MDLC

Software engineers and programers are troubled about the larger module library control and management in software development and maintenance. This paper presents some characters of module library structure. According to them, the auther considers the directed graph and its invarse graph are suitable for the representation of module library structure. In this paper; the calling graph and called graph of a module are used to describe the calling and called relationship about the modules. Finally, the basic data structure, main functions and advantages of MDLC--a tool for managing module library are introduced.
