Recovery Scheme for Multicast Link of BGP /MPLS VPN

When the Border Gateway Protocol Multi-protocol Label Switching Virtual Private Network(BGP/MPLS VPN) multicast link fails,the multicast tree is divided into unconnected sub-trees.In reaction to this phenomenon,this paper gives an idea that backup-path can be used to connect sub-trees and reconstruct multicast tree so as to reduce offline probability weighted host number because of link failure.When the backup-path is established,the effect of invalid link on multicast tree is the important factor which determines the robustness of multicast tree,and it can be minimized by the deigned algorithm of choosing multicast backup-path,thus increasing the robustness of multicast tree.Analysis result shows that this algorithm can realize the fine recovery of invalid multicast link.
