For the beacon node of underground Wireless Sensor Networks(UWSN) can't refill energy in time, its energy level is relatively low and it is very necessary for the UWSN to combine with the characteristics of underground networks to develop the routing algorithm which can reduce energy consumption beacon nodes and extend the service time beacon node.Through the analysis on the node' energy supplement method and the mobility characteristic of mobile node,a position estimate based multi-hop routing (PEBHR) protocol is proposed, which can help the node choose a appropriate mobile node as a data relay with the position estimation methods to set up routing path quickly. The PEBHR protocol makes mobile node whose energy level higher than beacon node to assume primary data forwarding task, which can reduce load of beacon node whose energy level is relatively low and prolonging its survival time.Simulation results show that PEBHR protocol is an effective solution to energy imbalance problem of the UWSN,and can reduce energy consumption of beacon nodes and prolong survival time of beacon nodes.
