A Line Clipping Algorithm Against Circular Window

Line clipping algorithm based on a circular window is proposed in this paper.Most of the line segments located out of the circular window can be identified by outer tangential square and the line segments located in the inscribed 16-polygons of a circle can be displayed entirely.Then,by transformation,clipping are introduced to identify some of the line segments located out of the circular again,thus the line segments participated in intersections can be decreased.Experiment results show that the new algorithm has a high efficiency and a good stability.
