Improving the Resolution Ratio of Seismic Data by Multiwavelets Transformation

With the designation of method of wavelet function which is closer to the seismic data,the divided wavelet energy of the seismic data relatively centralizes and becomes easy to deal with;By choosing compatible wavelet function,multiwavelet transform is done; Frequency division functions can compensate the loss of the high frequency part of the seismic data in oil-field prospecting so that the resolution ratio of the seismic data in oilfield prospecting is improved.Compensating the high frequency part of the reflected signal, greatly raises the main frequency of the seismic section plane and expands the frequency width,thus achieves a seismic section plane with a higher resolution ratio.Practical data processing results show that this method is feasible and effective.
