Serial Communications Based on Linux

This paper introduces SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment and Material International) standards and describes SECS (Semi Equipment Communications) standards in details. Then we depict the characters and settings of communication with serial ports based on Linux operation system. At last we describe a example that is to communication between HOST with EQUIMENT used serial port based on SECS standard.
