Research in Programming Support for MLC NAND Flash in WinCE System

Based on WinCE 6.0 operating system,described the whole structure of NAND flash driver.Analyzed the function of flash abstraction layer and the setup of address mapping relationship.Discussed the process of refering to version conception for the setup of address mapping relationship of MLC NAND,make the flash abstraction layer program can support MLC NAND.Analyzed the flash media driver layer program,introduced the theory and realization of two plane program technology for driver performance improvement and the four bit ECC verify process.Tested the speed of two plane program and single plane program,the result indicated that the former speed was improved 92.2% than the later.
