A DSP Implementation of Turbo Code Based on VC6.0

The basic structures of the coding and decoding of Turbo code and the principle of Log-MAP algorithm of the Turbo codes are introduced.The Turbo code encoder is built using two identical recursive systematic convolutional(RSC) codes with parallel concatenation.The decoder is built using two iterative soft-output Viterbi algorithm decoders serially.The programs,which are important to the computer simulation of Turbo code,are developed with program language VC6.0 and the coder and decoder of Turbo code are realized based on DSP.
