The Fast Documents Extraction Method Using API in CATIA

A documents interactive extraction method was proposed using API in CATIA according to the widespread trait of the scattered management of a large number of documents in CATIA assembly. The API interface function provided by CATIA and VB programming technology was used. A friendly interactive interface,traversing assembly structure tree was designed through the Recursive method. The function of fast documents extraction was realized,and the results show that this method is simple,fast,efficient,practical and reliable.
