Nonliner Numerical Simulation Research on Rubber Buffer

Rubber buffer is one of the easily damaged parts of air nailer,which seriously impede the increment of service life of air nailer.Based on the working status of air nailer,the paper adopted nonlinear material models for the rubber buffer research,it shows that,fatigue failure of rubber buffer during nailing process were directly caused by original buffer structure form,improvement on structure based on numerical simulation results and nailing fatigue tests are effective,with practical use value thus provides theoretical reference for buffer structure design.
