On the Relations between Semantic Characteristics of Verb-measure Words and Process Structure of Verbs

On the basis of the relations between five kinds of verbs which Guo Rui(1993) put forward according to the process structure,this article studies the relations between verb-measure structure and verbs as follows: On the one hand,all kinds of verb-measure structure can be combined with verbs of different process structure;on the other hand,the quantities of the verbs combined with the verb-measure words are different.The mutual choice of verb-measure words and verbs is in a balanced state all the time.
