Application of Intelligent Agent Technology in CAPP System

Intelligent Agent researching has become a focus of distributed artificial intelligence,and it attracts more and more researchers' attention.This paper introduces the basic concepts of Agent and MAS as well as system structure of CAPP in brief,puts forword a new system structure of CAPP based on MAS technology,describes the function of all main Agents in this system and discusses the implementation of this system,it also implements an automatic programming system for wire-cutting machine based on MAS,finally compares the advantages and disadvantages of the CAPP system based on MAS technology and the traditional CAPP system.
