Way of calling MATLAB by means of VB and its application in fault diagnosis

A way of calling MATLAB by means of VB is applied to fault diagnosis. Based on the analysis and sum-up of fault experience of electrical load management center, a back-propagation neural network-based electrical load management center fault diagnosis system is designed and realized by learning sample. Calling MATLAB by means of VB is introduced and the main interface is compiled in term of VB and MATLAB is made use of to finish fault diagnosis. Accordingly, cycles of developing programs can be shortened and heavy load of programmers can be lightened. The system work best and can correctly position faults in practice.
