Study on the Algorithm of GPS Software Receiver

In order to extract the navigation data fast and accurately,the capture and tracking algorithm to the software-defined GPS receiver is studied in this paper.The frequency-domain parallel serach algorithm based on the FFT is used in the capture algorithm.In the tracking loop,PLL is used for the carrier tracking and non-coherent DLL is used for the code tracking.Tracking the GPS signal rapidly and accurately is implemented successfully.This algorithm has superior performance,it is easy to be implemented on PC.
