Main Improvement of Algorithms and its Analysis in H.26L Compared with H.263

In order to obtain the better effect of image compression and more pra cticable function, ITU-T establishes a new video coding standard-H.26L after es tablishing some video coding standards as H.261, H.263 and H. 263+and so on. In this paper , we analyzes the mian theory of key module in H. 26L comparing with H. 263 and H.263+ and give its characteristics and advantages. We point out th at H.26L is an effective video coding standard.
