Risk Analysis and Its Application to Dam Safety Monitoring

Taking the dam instrumentation and arrangement of monitoring points as a principal problem in dam safety monitoring,this paper has introduced the theory of risk analysis on the basis of the standardized dam safety instrumentation and arrangement of monitoring points and then made their optimization so that the dam safety instrumentation and the monitoring points could purposely be arranged.The paper has illustrated practicability of the method with examples.
