IPv6 Address Allocation and Authentication Based on Hash Function

Now there are so many attacks based on the IP address forgery in the internet. It is difficult to authenticate source address in IPv4 networks. However, the address space in IPv6 networks makes it possible to determine whether the source address authentication is legitimate based on the original address. We've adopted Hash function to generate addresses of IPv6.This is because the Hash function has many good characteristics, such as one-way calculation, difficulty to get the messages which have the same hash value and sensitivity to initial value,so the addresses of IPv6 generated from Hash function are hard to fake, and this method prevents the attacks based on IP address forgery effectively.
