An environmental information system framework based on ontology

For the problems like heterogeneous data,system interoperability and information retrieval,in the environmental informatics,we introduce the most recent results of ontology and semantic web in the field of informatics into the environmental informatics.Here,an environmental information system framework based on ontology is provided.It focuses on the ontology technology,with(double-layer) ontology structure,and offers both the formation share and system interoperation in(semantic) level.Environmental information services and environmental intelligent information retrieval are(realized) in the frame,and can be extended further.
