A pre-warning and forecast way to hydrologic infrastructure equipment and device of Yangtze River

On the basis of 3D WebGIS platform,the pre-warning and forecast system is proposed in order to effectively manage hydrologic fundamental facilities in various hydrometric stations. The system has 3 pre-warning methods,namely alarm of overdue fundamental facilities,deadline for overhaul and maintenance,facilities failed to attaining standards. Users can directly know the forecast results in the 3D WebGIS environment with the application of the method. Moreover,the pre-warning and forecast system for hydrologic fundamental facilities of Yangtze River is developed specifically according to the existing facilities of the Hydrology Bureau of Changjiang Water Resources Commission. Practice application results prove that the pre-warning and forecast approach is workable and applicable preferably.
