Research on measuring dimension of circular parts based on improved Hough transform

Analyzed image pretreatment technology of histogram equalization,and proposed an improved Hough transform algorithm combined with circular geometry characters. The method can find circle centre according to character that a perpendicular bisector of a chord in circumference passes through the centre,and search gradient along edge to discover circle centre and compute radius,and effectively solves edge detection problem of noisy image. A case study of bearing inner and outer diameter and size measurement apply to prove the accuracy and effectiveness of circular parts detection technology based on improved Hough transform.
