Thermoplegia is severe heat stroke,a fatality emergency which represent hyperpyrexia and consciousness disorders mainly.It is a life-threatening condition if not appropriately managed in time.This paper describes the pathogenesis of thermoplegia,it is a review of the chemicals and traditional Chinese medicine for prevention and cure on the thermoplegia as well as the mechanism.
