A Mobile-client Oriented Compression Algorithm for Spatial Vector Data

In this paper the mobile-client oriented compression algorithm for vector data is proposed for spatial information service system. This algorithm is based on the second generation theory of wavelets. The algorithm reduces the quantity of transmitted data and improves the quality of mobile service.
