Event Notification Service Under the Service-Oriented Environment:Model and Implementation
Liang Gan · Computer Engineering and Science · 2008
The design of event notification under the service-oriented environment experiences more challenges like higher level application interfaces and event models, the soft state management of event entities and notification subscription. Although the notification service is studied extensively, the counterpart based on business services is still often misunderstood, and no nore work has been done. This paper sets a viewpoint from business services, designs and implements a notification service with a transport-independent event delivery model, and an on-demand delivery event notification architecture. The implementation’s successful application in large-scale dynamic distributed environments shows its correctness and flexibility in business services Abstraction.
