Study of virtual memory management in Linux-based embedded OS generator

The Linux operating system has a very bright future in the area of embedded applications for anything from internet appliances to dedicated control systems. But virtual memory management seems unnecessary for embedded OS based on Linux,and it will be extremely bad for the real time performance. This paper gives the analysis of Linux virtual memory management and proposes a scheme for amending the source code.
