Answer copying is the hardest form of cheating to detect.This paper introduces the principles of Kappa statistic and does an empirical study on detecting answer copying using real data.The results shows that, Kappa statistic is a valid method to detect answer copying,which can provide statistical evidence for detectingidentical paper.
