VBA-based English Spelling Correction for Dictionary Writing

Computer-aided English spelling correction methods suitable for dictionary writing are explored.The implementation of a spellchecker is introduced.The utility is based on VBA and written in VB.The key function of the software is the automatic extraction of all the misspellings and the corresponding suggestions for correction from the source text and marking them in the output text.Spell check-ing with better accuracy is realized via program-manipulated user dictionaries,which improves greatly the performance of the utility and makes it a more useful tool for dictionary writing.
