Real-Time Evaluation of Netted ECM Effectiveness Based on the D-S Evidence Theory

Fei Huang · Modern Defence Technology · 2010

The disadvantages of the evaluation methods of ECM effectiveness available are discussed, and the access to realizing real-time evaluation of the effectiveness under the condition of netted ECM is proposed here. The fluctuating level of the signal of the target emitter is used as the evaluation basis. In addition, a new method of calculating the basic probability assignment function needed is proposed. Moreover, the D-S evidence theory is applied to the multiple information fusion, and then the real-time evaluation of effectiveness comes to truth. Finally, the fusion procedure is simulated. The simulation resuits do have referential value for the future netted ECM combat.
