Performance Analysis of Chaotic and Walsh Composite Sequence

The choice of spread spectrum sequence is a key issue in the direct sequence spread spectrum(DSSS) system. The performance of spread spectrum sequence is directly related to the overall performance of a DSSS system, such as anti-jamming, anti-fading, synchronization and tracking performance. Because of better complexity and anti-jamming capability, the composite spread spectrum sequences have been gradually replacing the traditional spread spectrum sequences. A new composite spread spectrum sequence was proposed based on the chaotic sequence and Walsh sequence. The anti-jamming capability of the proposed sequence and the effect of sub-sequence were analyzed. The simulation results showed that the new composite spread spectrum sequence has better anti-jamming ability than traditional spread spectrum sequences and its anti-jamming ability was hardly affected by the initial value of sub sequences. It has highly value in application.
