KeyRev-based key revocation scheme of wireless sensor networks
Pu Tu · Modern Electronics Technique · 2012
The KeyRev key revocation scheme can remove the damaged nodes in wireless sensor networks(WSNs),and generate the session keys in a new session. The node who has already recovered the session key can generate the data encryption key and MAC authentication key. However, since the compromised sensor′s information is broadcasted in plaintext by base station, the nodes under attack can easily find and use other′s ID instead of theirs to communicate with the normal nodes by cheating and modifying. The scheme was improved by snugly dealing with the compromised sensor′s information so that the network can remove them completely.
