Philosophical Reflections On Hacker Phenomenon

Hacker is a particular nowadays, and it is debatable. In this paper the definition of and cracker is given, and the evolvement of is reviewed. Through the analysis on colony and their culture, the relationship between and free software movement, it argues that hacker phenomenon is the result of computer network widely used in every fields of the society under commercial system, and the intrinsic factor is the conflict between the modern science technology and traditional human culture. The will join in the mainstream of culture along with the social progress. In addition, this paper points out it is necessary to punish the cracker by law nowadays.
