Method for Harmonic Wave Compensation Based on Active Filter

High order harmonic wave was a pollution in power system,it became a severe problem in power system operation day by day.The basic operation principle of control system used in a parallel active power filter was introduced,the overal diagram of the control system was presented.Alogrithms for DC voltage control and for compensating current control were proposed and description for these 2 methods by using MATLAB simulink software was provided.The results show that the proposed control algorithms can be used for harmonic wave compensation.
