Laboratory error analyses of geosynthetic materials

The joint test results of physical, hydraulic and mechanical characteristics of geosynthetic materials (such as geomembrane, nonwoven fabric and geogrid) are analyzed by use of the mathematic statistical method so as to see whether or not there is any system error in the test results among laboratories and to see the reliability of test results is ensured. Analysis results show that there is no system error of physical characteristics of the geomembrane and nonwoven fabric among laboratories and the test results are reliable, and that there do exist system errors in test results of hydraulic and mechanical characteristics of geosynthetic materials among laboratories.
