Semi-automatic recovery model of paper scraps by machine

Tang We · Journal of Liaoning Technical University · 2015

In order to solve the recovery of paper scraps by machine, the paper establishes the discrete optimizing model by ordering and clustering the edge of paper segments. Paper segments can be matched both vertically and horizontally to get a complete picture. Another discrete optimizing model is needed for analyzing huge amount of scraps or English contents which has different line-heights. The choices of the optimal models and a small amount of manual intervention can be selected by specifying line-height and other factors in order to solve the recovery of paper scraps. The models prove to be accurate and valid for simple situations and complex segments separately. It is worth that clustering model can be applied further to deal with more complex paper-cut problems by machine.
