Research on Solution of Providing Telecomm Grade IP QoS with Carrier Network

Research on IP QoS based on the traffic character runs into embarrassment, so it's necessary to find a practical model to meet carrier's needs. According to the features of carrier network, and absorbing the essence of the technologies such as TDM, PSTN, synchronous network, switching on layer 3,MPLS, RSVP, we get a new solution:through the timing priority scheduling arithmetic, we divide the bandwidth into two part, one is plesiochronous to transfer the data with QoS required, another is common to transfer traffic in general. Based the arithmetic above, we realize the trunk planning for real-time traffic, strict CAC and resource confirmation with path coupled. Finally, we provide solution to improve efficiency of switching real-time traffic.
