Based on the characteristics of rotational equipments in thermal power plants, an intelligent decision support system for their state maintenance is designed. It consists of management module, data gathering module, diagnosis and analysis module, decision support module, state data bank and standard data bank. It can give overall information and maintenance suggestions about rotational equipments in power plants.
