Discrete Ideal Filter Bank and Its Application

In this paper, a kind of transform filter bank based on discrete orthogonal transform, discrete ideal filter bank and its iterated system and the application to signal analysis and processing will be discussed. The transform filter bank is the development of sub band splitting and wavelet decomposition and composition. The iterated matched ideal filter bank has very simple structure and fast algorithm. It can be applied to many aspects of signal processing.
