An adaptive strategy for image enhancement based on the Curvelet transform

The paper gives an algorithm based on the Curvelet transform.By making full of the characteristics that the Curvelet transform has much more ability to express the detail of 2-D images,the proposed algorithm can adaptively adjust the range of the restrained noise and the intensity of the signal Curvelet coefficients to different Curvelet scales.Experimental results show that this algorithm has better effect.
