"Wireless City" and Campus Infermatization

Campus informatization is one of the most important foundations for building up the 21th century world-class university in China, and is of far-reaching educational strategic significance. This paper, in combination of the new technologies and new products emerged in building up city in Beijing and Shanghai, proposes for the first time an idea, that is, to apply the technology in the building of city to the building of and the modification of existing network, analyzes the feasibility from the campus demand for wireless broadband, wireless technology and construction cost, and describes the importance and status of wireless campus network.
