Comparison of fresh sweet corn cultivars

In order to select out the suitable cultivars meeting the cultivation of Jiangmen market,the comparative experiment of nine introduced fresh sweet corn was carried out in the spring of 2011 at Jiangmen Institute of Agricultural Sciences.The results showed that the Fotian 2,Yuetian16,Jinmaotian 6,Zhuyu 1 and Huabaotian 8 were better than CK in the combination of characteristic,yield and resistance,it is suitable to promote the cultivation in Jiangmen;in those cultivars Fotian 2 and Yuetian16 were the best,they also had stronger market potential.
