Distributed Database System Architecture Based on WAN

Distributed database system has gained great attention because of the development in web and people's need for greater flexibility and easy access to information. The present distributed database application system is based on Clint/Server function architecture, and consequently, independent visit to database system has its limitation. This paper advances the architecture and characteristics of distributed database system based on WAN and points out ways in its research and application.
