Test Platform for Iris Recognition Algorithm Based on MATLAB GUI

Iris recognition is an important biometric feature identification technology.For this aspect many algorithms have been presented,but there is no normalized platform for comparing and judging these algorithms.In this paper a test platform for iris recognition algorithm based on MATLAB GUI is presented,this paper also introduces some worthy to be considered aspects for acquiring iris image.It is helpful to do research work related to iris recognition.Experiments with the same iris database can show us the different performances of different algorithms.New algorithm and modified algorithm are easy to be studied.Experiments and simulation results show that the platform can manage algorithm and output visual results and it is effective for iris recognition algorithms' research and comparison.
