Study on the Network Performance of Recycling Socket Buffer

Socket buffer is the basic transfer unit in Linux operating system, but its recycling has not been paid enough attention the study on Linux network performance at present. In this paper,the primitives of recycling socket buffer are defined and implemented in NIC device driver. Test shows that the method of recycling socket buffer can improve the Linux network performance efficiently.
